The train departed from Kasaragod and halted at Kannur, Kozhikode and Shoranur Junction at its scheduled time. However, due to a technical glitch, the train came to a stop shortly after passing Shoranur Junction at 5.50 pm. To mitigate the inconvenience caused by the delay, an additional stoppage was arranged at Angamali station. This allowed passengers who might have been significantly impacted by the disruption to adjust their travel plans more conveniently. The railway authorities have assured passengers that the root cause of the technical problem will be thoroughly investigated during the train’s scheduled maintenance at Thiruvananthapuram.
