Ajmer – Jaipur – Delhi Vande Bharat Express Flagged Off By PM Modi

Rajasthan’s 1st and India’s 14th Vande Bharat Express was flagged off today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video-conferencing. The train will run between Delhi Cantonment and Ajmer Junction on all 6 days except Wednesday. It is the world’s first semi-high-speed passenger train on high-rise overhead electric (OHE) territory.

Delhi – Ajmer Vande Bharat Express will cover a distance of 428 km in 5 hours and 15 minutes. It will save an hour of travel time compared to Shatabdi Express, which takes around 6 hours and 15 minutes. This train will stop at Gurgaon, Alwar and Jaipur during its journey. It will also improve the connectivity to major tourist destinations in Rajasthan, including Pushkar and the Ajmer Sharif Dargah.

Ajmer to Delhi Vande Bharat Express Fare

  • AC Chair Car: ₹1,680 (For the entire journey)
  • Executive Chair Car: ₹3,080 (For the entire journey)

The fare for AC chair car (CC) ranges from ₹380 to ₹1,250, while the fare for an executive chair car (EC) ranges from ₹705 to ₹2,270. Catering charges are already included in the fare; however, passengers can opt-out and book tickets at a slightly lesser cost.

PM Modi has already launched 4 Vande Bharat Express in the first two weeks of April. The next Vande Bharat Express is expected to run between New Jalpaiguri and Guwahati.
